Sprinkles

I entered a giveaway from http://www.createhopedesigns.com/ and was a winner! I won a box of "sprinkles" from Izzy & Ivy Designs.

What are sprinkles?
Well, just like sprinkles can add zest to cupcakes, these sprinkles add zest to dresses!

They come in a cake box and look like cute little cup cakes!

Sprinkles are woven sewing labels!
Some are Izzy & Ivy Designs labels, to use on their patterns, there are different designs that say "Handmade" and give washing instructions, and super cute size labels!

I can't wait to make more dresses that I can get these sprinkles on!

Thanks you Izzy & Ivy and Create H.O.P.E!

Fashion Show!

I hosted a fashion show for the new dresses and onesies that I have been making and it went so well!
We had such a great turnout and all the girls were so adorable!

We split the girls into two groups. The first half went and played a game with Kellie and Schyler where they learned modeling poses and got to know each other. During the game my mom would take a few girls at a time to change into the dresses to get their pictures taken. Katie took all the photos for me and did a great job!

I took the second group and taught the girls how to runway model with the help of Sammy. We worked on our beautiful model smiles, posture, turns, and not swinging our arms like a bunch of spaghetti.

Throughout the whole clinic we had giveaways with prizes donated by different members of the community. Because of their generosity EVERY girl was able to go home with a prize!

After everyone had their picture taken we rounded them all back onto the stage for the fashion show. The girls got to strut their stuff across the stage in front of the parents and did such a great job! They all had so much attitude and personality.

Our winners were:

 Bella White

Jessi Pyles

Kenadie Hodges

 Lilly Sorenson

                                                                    Makeara Hodges

                                                                          Paige James

                                                                      Phallyn Knowles

                                                                          Rhen James

I want to give a special thanks to my mom Wendy Macdonald, my sisters Katie Gundersen and Kellie Macdonald, Sammantha Elieson, Schyler Jordan, and all of the prize donors! This fashion show would not have worked without their help!

Custom orders can be made through me or Katie.

Summer projects

I have been going crazy with projects this summer! Some for my self and some that I have sold.
But I have decided that I need to share all the great things I have made!

Sewing requires a lot of pins, and they need to be easy to grab, to I make this cute cupcake pin cushion!

I have made and sold a few car seat cover, and I forget to take pictures of them :(
I am so dissapointed. But here is one that I did get a pic of

So cute huh? I have found some tutorials for lots of cute new flowers that I have started adding to my projecst :)

I found this tutorial on tipjunkie.com
It is for this crosage style bracelet.

So cute! Then I saw these flowers made out of zippers and wanted a crosage with that too

I found this tutorial for the necklace and ring on tipjunkie.com also and loved the idea. This was so easy so make, and such an easy way to look more dressed up.

I have seen so many tutorails for cute bags/purses and thought it would be fun to make one. So i combined ideas from different blogs and came up with this

Yes this bag is HUGE!

And of course cute flowers again :)

I made this bag for my temple clothes, cuz I got tired of taking my pink camoflauged backpack.
(It was way to small and looked very "little girl")
So this is the perfect size and much for grown up looking!

My primary class (6 year old girls) is always asking if we can play a game or do something more fun so I decided to make a flannel story board. This is small enough to fit in my church bag but big enough to fit a good sized story.

It has pockets on both sides that velcro shut. Each story will be in an envelope and fit nicely in these pockets.

Nice and sturdy to hold all those Book of Mormon characters :)

Those are all the projects I can remember making, now I just need to convince Jace to play "fasion show" and take pictures of all the skirts I made...

Baby Girl Shoes

I have the cutest pattern for mary-janes for baby girls!

They are reversible!!!

One side has pleats and the other side is basic. I can do the basic strap, elastic, ribbons, or lace-up ribbons.
Adding accents to the toe makes them no longer reversible :( but they are super cute! I have multiple flowers, bows, and jewel designs.
The sizes are 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, 12-18.
I am selling them for $12 but am offering the option to save by bundling!

Bundles:
3 for $33
4 for $43
5 for $53
